# Flight Categories

Flight Categories is used for [Interest Targeting](https://dev.kevel.co/docs/interest-targeting). Flight Categories enable you to target users based on their interests. For example, if someone clicks on an ad related to 'basketball', you can record that the user is a `basketball` fan and then use that info for future targeting.
